About Your Stay

Checking In & Out / Access

 

Check In

We try to be flexible regarding check in times, but rooms need to be serviced prior to your arrival, this is normally done by 2pm, therefore normal check in is after 2pm and up to 9pm, later check in may be arranged with access to room as instructed

Access (Getting In)

Upon booking, your room will be allocated and you will be sent confirmation by e-mail, this will include "How do we get in" instructions

At the gate call on the intercom, This connects to our mobile phone we will open the gate and meet you at The Barns, we may be a few minutes away but will be with you a quickly as we can.

There may be occasions access to rooms can be via a key safe, this will be by prior arrangement.

Parking

The guest car park is signposted, please park in the marked bays.

Checking Out

Rooms must be vacated by 11.00hrs on your day of departure. Please leave you keys and gate fob in key return box in the Breakfast Room reception counter, non returned keys and gate fob will be charged at £40.00

Your Account

Any outstanding bills must be settled prior to your departure

Electric Gates

The fob attached to your room key opens the gates they will open automatically when driving out, but when exiting on foot or bike and when coming back through the gates you will need to press the fob to open the gates.

Inside Your Room

Inside Your Room

is an information pack with survival instructions and phone contact numbers, please call us if you need any assistance throughout your stay with us.

TV Controller

This is located on your bedside cabinet; all freeview & radio stations are available.

Hair Dryers

This is located on the dressing table shelf.

Servicing of Rooms

Rooms are thoroughly cleaned between guest stays, towels and bedding are generally changed after there nights when guest are staying more the four nights or at any time on request (please advise us during or after breakfast service)

WiFi

We have good WI-FI to all rooms, password is required and is found at the front of your room book

You may of course not be the most outgoing person in the morning, or maybe breakfast is some coffee and the morning papers, you may want to be allowed to start your day in the peace and quite of your room, this is fine and we can arrange something light if you wish.

However, if breakfast is what makes the difference between your normal working day and your Sunday's and holidays, then come in & find your table in the Tuck Barn. All our food is sourced locally where possible  and is of a high quality.

 

Breakfast Times

Breakfast is served daily between 8:00am & 9:30am.

is served in the 'Tuck Barn' between 8:00hrs and 09:30hrs - early breakfasts can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Dietary Requirements

If you have any special dietary needs, please just let us know in advance  and we will accommodate. Whilst our kitchen is not  dedicated vegiterian be assured we take all steps to maintain the integrity of meals prepared.

 

Terms & Conditions

To confirm your booking we require valid credit or debit card these are held securely, a deposit may be required for some bookings you are entering a contract and agree to our booking terms and conditions, this also applies when you provide us with your credit/debit card details. The outstanding  balance for your booking may be drawn 48 hrs prior to your arrival

We cannot make allowances for late arrivals or early departures; all dates booked beyond the cancellation period (72 hrs) must be paid for. The change of booking dates or shortening of a reservation will be deemed as a cancellation, holiday insurance is therefore very strongly recommended.

Group Bookings

We are happy to accommodate family, multiple room bookings. They are only taken on the basis of the deposit and balance being paid for by the lead guest (organiser) If this is not the case then individual guests must make their own bookings in the normal manner

PLEASE NOTE our policy is NO STAG OR HEN PARTIES, as on occasions these can be detremental to the comfort of other guests, such bookings that have been made may be cancelled or may be subject to additional conditions and or cost

Non Registered Guests

Only those guests whose names are on the booking are permitted to stay overnight.

Behavior of guests should not be excessive or rowdy and must not cause annoyance, distress or embarrassment to staff or fellow guests.

Any spillage or damage must be reported as soon as possible and we reserve the right to charge such damage or loss against the payment card provided, this can include any cancellation of bookings due to room or rooms being unfit to re let.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in any bedrooms or in the dinning room; you may smoke in the outside seating areas, but we would ask that you show consideration to guests that may prefer not to smoke

Dog Policy

We are a dog owning family,  we want you to enjoy the company of your pet whilst walking the lovely paths around Bradford on Avon, however we do need to make sure our rooms are "perfect" for the next guest occupying your room who will not love your dog as much as you do!! and we know to ensure there is no doggeyness remaining in the rooms there is additional work to do this and hence the charge to help cover this. Please be aware that a muddy, wet or excitable  dog may create cleaning needs beyond the standard charge. The standard charge will not cover damage, soiled carpets, bedding or furniture,

Please be aware that problems arising from dog behaviour or damaged caused will be charged to the credit or debit card used to make the booking

Well behaved, quiet and friendly dogs are welcome on request There is a charge of £6.00 per night.

This charge can not be added to your room charge and should be settled by card or cash at reception on check out

Dogs must be kept on a lead and never left unattended in rooms

You should bring towels and bedding for your dog and they are not permitted on chairs or beds.

Dog flea and worming treatments must be up to date before arrival.

Please wash and dry muddy paws using the tap outside the barn.

Any poops should be picked up and disposed of in the general waste bins around the site

Any damage caused by your dog should be reported as soon as practical. The guest will be responsible for any damage and additional deep cleaning or redecorating

Your dog must not create a nuisance to other guests, constant barking will cause distress and may result in a termination of your booking

We have a secure bike store - please ask on arrival

Evening Meals

We can cater for evening meals for large groups, by prior arrangement

High Chairs & Cots

These are available upon request.

Recycling Bins

These are located at the rear of the car park - we encourage our guests to recycle as much as possible.
