Glamping (what is it?)

Camping with a little more comfort, located in the grassy areas beside the brook offering lovely outside space to sit, play picnic or just relax. A bit of a 1950s Boys own adventure, why not bring some ginger beer?

Private wet room bathrooms not shared, no queuing or putting money in the slot for a lukewarm shower but not en suite

Looking over the adjoining fields, enjoy the world of rabbits in the morning sunrise. Benefiting from a fridge and microwave in its small kitchenette and an electric radiator for those chilli nights it offers a little bit of a "Enid Blyton" adventure with a more comfortable twist, and of course breakfast worth getting up for

Inside is a lovely 4ft bed, chairs. "Tom" the shepherds hut is let with full bedding, bath and hand towels hospitality tray of tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge are provided with electric radiator for those chilly evenings but sorry no TV but on a good day you may pick up some Wi Fi, you could get around to reading those books you were given for Christmas!

Private wet room w/c is located about 15M away

As with all our rooms there is ample car parking or secure bike storage, you will have the freedom to come and go as you wish via our electric gates using your gate fob.

JUST A FEW RULES (HAS TO BE SAID)

Dogs are welcome but we must be informed prior to and they must be kept under proper control.

Music and or radios should not be played loudly.

Open fires are not permitted

Do not climb over fences to gain access to adjoining fields or parts of the land

Our original Gypsy Bow Top Wagon and Shepherds Hut (Dick and Harriet) sit together in a quiet corner of our land with a brook running behind and plenty of grassed area to enjoy your own "Ginger Beer" adventure sleep out. It benefits from a wet room shower and W/C located about 20M away that is exclusively for your use, the bathroom can be locked so you don't have to carry towels and wash bags around with you.

They have their own private covered area with a gas BBQ*** to sit by at night and burn some marsh mallows. Breakfast is included in the price, served in "The Tuck Barn" dining room however they are let on a bring you own sleeping bag basis, but pillows pillowcases and towels are provided. They can be booked for two or four persons. There is a shared kitchenette next to the Tuck Barn that has a fridge and microwave which is useful for chilling a few beers or warming up a snack, but don't forget breakfast is included

As with all our rooms you enjoy the freedom to come and go as you wish. We have listed below what is included in your stay and what things you might want to bring with you. Sorry there is defiantly no TV or Wi Fi, but you can check your mails over breakfast in The Tuck Barn, or you can just ignore them!!!

The Gypsy Wagon and Shepherd's hut are regarded as one booking, choose Harriet The Gypsy Wagon orDick the Shepherds Hut for two persons.

The covered area between them offers an exclusive area with soft cushions to sit enjoy some food or maybe a bottle of wine or two

*** Not all guests want or use the BBQ and others want the outdoor cooking experience and the heating offered whilst sitting out at night therefore we can supply butane gas at cost of TBC
